La Vallongue, it is 740 acres of garrigues and rocks located between Eygalières and Saint Rémy de Provence. The estate is located below a long valley (hence the name « la Vallongue ») and the main road was the antic way linking Rome to Spain.
100 years ago, the estate was a sheep farm. It is only later in the 70s, that Mr Paul-Cavalier discovered the unsuspected ability of the terroir to grow vineyards. With patience and lots of hard work, Mr Paul-Cavalier created the 93 acres of vineyards. In this unspoilt site, the vineyards were converted to organic farming in 1985.
