While Malbec has been cultivated for centuries in Bordeaux and is the principal variety of Cahors in the southwest of France, this late-ripening grape has found its true home in Mendoza, in the shadows of the Argentine Andes. There the high altitude, warm, sunny days and cold nights, low humidity and sandy soils produce Malbec with dark, lush, juicy fruit, supple textures and bright acidity – a versatile match to a variety of cuisines.

Grapes – 100% Hand Harvested Malbac

Ageing – Grape to Glass in 24 months

Palete – Fresh wild blackberry, boysenberry and cassis cascade on the palate. Spicy hints of cocoa, tobacco and violets add to the melodic complexity and vibrant grip.

Pairing – Rib eye steak, pasta, lamb chops, mushrooms risotto, blue cheese.

Alcohol – 14.6%
