Another quality wine from one of our favourite Pinot Noir producers. The newly released 2013 is another great wine from Stephen George.

“An effortless pinot noir, capturing the fruit intensity and complexity of a warm and very dry season, while presenting it with grace and poise, framed in a silky and refined structure. It’s spicy and intense on the bouquet, with mixed spice, berry compote, sarsaparilla, anise and beetroot. The palate has excellent poise of rose hip and violet perfume over a core of dark berry fruit and savoury beetroot persistence, laced seamlessly together with finely structured tannins of silky texture and great persistence.”

The consistency of the Clare climate usually produces a good Cabernet Sauvignon. 2016 with a wet winter and mild summer takes the variety to a new level. Aged for 20 months in French Oak. Will cellar for at least 10-15 years.

Classic, smooth, yet intense Barossa shiraz. Very bright black and red fruits along with dark chocolate and plums on what is a lush and inviting nose. There’s richness on the palate, depth of flavour and spice too.
Another remarkable bargain made by former maker of Grange and 2 time Jimmy Watson Winner Mike Farmilo.
