Faint tinge of green with fresh passionfruit and tropical fruit flavours traces of mango and citrus. Clean finish with crisp acidity and an aftertaste of passionfruit, green apple and citrus.
This Eden Valley Cabernet shows inherent aromas of vanilla, cloves and gentle aniseed, amongst dark fruits. Intrinsic leafiness is captured throughout the palate length, within ripe blackberry, black currant, black cherry and cocoa characters. There is a defined moment of black pepper amidst the long arc of superbly ripe tannins.
This Heirloom Vineyards King’s Garden McLaren Vale Shiraz Grenache Mourvèdre was crafted with grapes from hand tended vines, sorted bunch by bunch, naturally open fermented with regular hand plunging and gentle pumping over to extract colour, flavour, and tannin. Aged in some new but mainly 3 and 4 year old French and American oak Hogsheads for 16 months.
Dark and dense and very formally attired, this classic Rhone blend is confidently and powerfully at home in McLaren Vale. The combined grape varieties throw heady aromas of earth, plums, spice, meatiness, white chocolate and pink peppercorns.
