Clean fresh young Barbera D’Asti with nice balance between the fruit and acid. Perfect for light pasta dishes or antipasta.
Traditionally Barbera has been the staple red of Piemonte. The Ponte family have been producing wines for 3 generations, originally selling product to locals in 25Ltr glass demijohns for home bottling. Colour – deep ruby red
Nose – Light with characteristic minimal blackfruits
Palate – well balanced with medium dry finish

Rocca di Cispiano is located in the heart of the Chianti Classico region of Tuscany. Named after the Roman soldier that settled in the area, it is now producing some of the finest organically managed Sangiovese we have come across! Third generation winemaker Lorenzo Lepri instils a philosophy of tradition, passion and intuition into the wines we have today. This wine is 100% hand-harvested Sangiovese grown from organically managed vineyards.
‘Solatus’ pays homage to the Lepri family and their history in Tuscan winemaking spanning three generations.
