Brockenchack 2013 Jack Harrison Shiraz
Colour – Deep purple-crimson
Nose/Palate – The bouquet immediately expresses black fruits, allspice and a hint of oak, all of which gain volume on the medium- to full-bodied palate; it is positively rich and voluptuous on the mid-palate, but the back-palate and finish have an open weave, and confer an overall spicy/cedary elegance.
96 points – James Halliday
Gold Medal – 2018 Melbourne International Wine Competition, Class: South Australian Shiraz over $35
