From the standout 2016 vintage is the first release of Brockenchack’s Eden Valley Pinot Noir. Grown at the highest point of the vineyard (480M), this is an elegant Pinot from the cooler climate of the Eden Valley
Pinot Noir is not a common varietal grown in Eden Valley, but as it is a favourite varietal of ours, and our winemaker’s, we wanted to deliver an elegant Pinot from our cool climate Eden Valley vineyard. Grown at the highest point on our vineyard, at 480m above sea level, we were able to ripen our Pinot Noir grapes perfectly.
Colour – scarlet and crimson with bright pink hues.
Nose – delicate fresh aromas of cranberry, raspberry and cherry.
Palate – A light to mid weight Pinot with good fruit ripeness. Red fruits underlined by bramble and clove notes, vanilla and soft white pepper.
Linear restraint, fine tannin grip, and superb length
