Acordeon Torrontes 2015
Torrontes (tor ohn TEZ) is the only indigenous white grape variety of Argentina. Acordeon grows Torrontes in the mile-high Cafayate Valley, the pre-eminent region for this signature white wine. The high altitude, low humidity, intensely sunny days and cold nights combine with sandy soils to bring forth the grape’s heady floral aromas and tangy tropical fruit flavors. Refreshing and amazingly versatile, this wine pairs seamlessly with foods ranging from toasted almonds to ceviche, spicy prawns to chipotle chicken.
Ageing – Grape to Glass 12 – 18 Months
Grapes – 100% Hand Harvested Torrontes
Palete – Lively acidity and juicy fruitful aromas, ripe flavor chorus of nectarines, white peaches, tangy grapefruit, Asian pear and hints of minerality, orange zest and honey.
Pairing – Spicy appetizers, mild cheeses, grilled prawns, ceviche, summer pastas, herb chicken, Asian cuisine from sushi to Thai spring rolls.
Alcohol – 12.7%
