Where is it?
Located halfway between Saint-Emillion and Sauternes in the heart of the Ente-deux-Mers is the 3rd generation family vineyard of the Boudon family. Since their first bottling in 1934 each generation has followed the same green line to produce with passion wines that express the typicality of their terrior, with great taste and healthy to the consumer. The vineyard has been organic since 1963 and has been producing their sulphur-free red Bordeaux since 2015.
Who makes it?
Patrick inherited the winery from his father in 1975 and worked with his grandfather and father. Today he runs the business with his wife Maryse.
How they make it?
The family has a total commitment to organic production and minimalist intervention winemaking, continually looking to innovate and improve practices in the fields and in winemaking, with the requirement of quality, the respect of terroir and the consumer.
Why We Like it?
We love the philosophy of Patrick and Maryse embracing the true spirit of organic farming, cultivating their vines with respect to their terroirs, environment the health of their vineyards and that of the end consumer.
